Organization: Infrastructure Outsourcing
Location: Austin, TX


People within the Client Operations-IO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) is the ongoing management and/or improvement of activities related to a part or to the whole of a technical infrastructure (eg information systems, security systems, telecommunications networks), allowing companies to focus on their core business and competencies.

  • Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.
  • Receive ongoing training to build and extend professional, technical and management skills in all areas

The Production Control Administrator monitors and provides support for the Compas21 Claims Engine (C21), Long Term Care Claims Management System (CMS) and Medically Needy Production Systems. Responsibilities include: responding to system issues; improving and refining system monitoring and system processes; maintaining system documentation and making upgrades to the production environment to support the Development and Operations teams.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


* Minimum of 1 year of experience (training or exposure) to all of the following:
- Structured programming
- Application Development and/or Support
- Working knowledge of relational databases w/ SQL


* Minimum of 6 months of experience (training or exposure) to all of the following:
- Production Support and Control
- Batch processes and Job Flow


Additional Preferred Skills Include:


* Knowledge of the current C21, CMS, Med Needy and V21 applications and their databases and their associated processes would be highly beneficial
* Knowledge of HP Tandem NSK Systems and applications: SQL MP/MX databases, NetBatch, Batchcom and Pathway
* Experience with client systems and/or Medicaid Management Information Systems
* Experience with SQL, Ms Office (Excel, Access, Word, Office), Visual Basic or (VB) Visual Basic for Applications (VBA); VBScript
* Ability to follow detailed directions with extremely high accuracy
* Technical troubleshooting and/or debugging
* Ability to determine and set priorities
* Ability to multitask several projects at a time while dealing with changing priorities
* Working knowledge of relational databases
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Produce high-quality work with attention to detail
* Work individually and as a member of a team
* Follow directions, but can work without direct supervision
* Meet deadlines and work within budgetary constraints
* Self-motivated, fast learner with a positive attitude
